I presume my house will be ready by 3rd quarter of this year? That's really fast and I'm about to have butterflies in my stomach thinking how much cash I have to fork out! OMG~

休假 wor!!! Took leave to celebrate my 5 yrs anniversary with BF. I shall update this in my next post.

Meanwhile, here are some more photos from my company D & D. The cartoonist did a cartoon drawing of me but dunno why I'm not so impressed with mine. Doesn't look cuter than the rest! I think I'm more cuter than the cartoon drawing loh!

D & D @ Fullerton

I had a busy week that I have no time to blog! Finally today, I can update about the past few events!

Yesterday, I had dinner at Long Beach with colleagues and a new colleague from Malaysia office. As we are going to work together in the near future, boss suggested a dinner together. I'm going to be busier 'cuz I'm assigned new tasks!

Last Friday was my company D & D and this time, it was held at Fullerton Hotel. We were knocked off early so we went to Tyan's house to doll up. I helped the girls to put on make-up. hehe.. My skills seem to get better leh. lol.

I loved all the programs that were lined up for us except the fact that I did not get to sit with my kakis. :( Nevertheless, it was fun! After the dinner, a group of us went clubbing. Initially, we wanted to go Butter factory but it's already midnight and bound to have long queues. So we ended up at Dragonfly which was a wrong choice cuz we did not fancy their live band there!

The Bunnies' Birthday Bash

It was a fun nite and everyone had so much fun! Everyone was spontaneous and joined in the fun to have a bunny photo!

TGIF

It's weekend again! This week has been a boring week as my company server was down for a few days and I had to find things to do. It's actually pretty tiring when there wasn't much to keep me occupied.

Speaking of which, I had my video shoot yesterday which was merely a 3 minutes interview. (I thought it was longer :P) The MC and videographer were helpful. They could see me so tensed up 'cuz all I did was muttering! A good thing I prepared my script so they suggested I wrote the sentences BIG enough for me to read while the MC held it up for me. keke. So I got everything completed in take two! lol. Good experience but I know I'm not natural in front of camera. Oops. I wondered how I sound when they play the video clip next week! Pray hard my pimples will not be so obvious!

Will be having a KTV at Chevrons after work to celebrate two of my colleagues' birthday. We are going to sabotage them by making them put on two bunnies headband. hehe.. Looking forward to a good time!

I adore surprises! Recently I have been receiving numerous surprises from my colleagues. Just another day, someone left a box of chewing gum on my desk and no message indicated. I was still wondering who was the one. lol. Until a few days I found out who.

Then today, I received two small pressies from Tyan and SY. So sweet colleagues =)

2010

This month will be a packed month for me. Alot of events coming up, ie; birthdays, company D & D, wedding (again!), meeting up with banquet managers and our 5th year anniversary!!! Time flies and BF and I still behave very much like the cute couple we used to be 5 years ago.

I have been "nominated" or you can call it "arrowed" by one of my colleagues in charge of D & D to record a video. I'm suppose to give some feedback! I'm still in the midst of preparing my script 'cuz I do not want to look worried in front of the video and speak something unsensible. haha. I don't want my 5 minutes to become whimsical and be famous for life!

This year it will be held at Fullerton Hotel. I want to shop for a dress but the event is next Friday!

Christmas Day Celebration

Have you ever wonder why are we celebrating Christmas? What is the real reason behind it? Christmas Day is an annual celebration for Christians of commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ.

Although a Christian holiday but Christmas Day has been widely celebrated as a festive season where there are lots of gift-giving, family dinners and Christmas decorations display beautifully. Everyone loves Christmas time!!

On Christmas Day, the guys and ladies drove down to Sembawang "Des & Rain's new house". It's only 90% completed and furniture were not ready but still we managed to have fun on this day! Thanks to everyone's efforts!!! I feel that if everyone does their part, it will definitely be a success! I hope the next Christmas celebration will be in my new home! ^^

Welcoming 2010

I haven't been updating my blog for 2 weeks. Really busy and tired with meet-ups. Since it's a Christmas season, how can I be at home blogging? lol.

I'll try to update in my coming weekend. Goodbye 2009! Welcome 2010! Enjoy your New Year celebration everyone!

17th Dec Christmas Celebration

I have lost track where to start.. Luckily, I have the photos to remind me!! I will start off with the Christmas lunch in office, then dinner at Oosh on 17th Dec.

My colleague and I suggested a Christmas lunch in office as we still have unused fund for sales dept. Although our big boss is a Christian but we don't have any X'mas celebration, sounds weird right? Never mind, we decided our celebration. We started with our budget and counted how many staff will be available on 17th. It's a small scale that we were organising so planning made easy.

Most were impressed with the buffet we ordered, the food were nice and yummy.


After work, the gals and I took cab down to Dempsey road to Oosh for dinner and chill-out. I have been there twice and I do like their ambience. Unfortunately, there was no live band to sing for us at the Oosh bar since it's a weekday. But also meant a good thing 'cuz it's quiet and we had private time and space to ourselves! =)

It's very rare we can have such event 'cuz most days we are busy with work and commitment. Letting off our stress and enjoyed an evening with the gals were wonderful memories!



P.S: I have watched AVATAR 3D and I simply loved it! I don't mind watching it again if anyone wants to sponsor me a ticket. LOL!
