Laid back lifestyle

This is what describes my lifestyle now. Or maybe this is what I want.
It's so relaxing to be at home doing things that I like after work than in office slogging until now. I pitied those with no life.

I have a list of things to fulfill for this year: going Japan and getting a LV bag. Hmmm.. Of cuz it takes time to fulfill my wishes cuz im a low-paid, miserable worker. But nevertheless, it's always a great feeling to yearn for something, cuz the more you yearn, the more you cherish, right? =)

I like this! Any sponsorship will be greatly loved by me. haha

Watched X-men Origins Wolverine preview last night at Shaw, thanks to Daniel for the free tickets. I enjoyed it alot, the movie has many special effects. I have forgotten if I have missed out the other series, but this one is good enough for me.

Saizeriya Ristorante Cafe

I'm so in love with this place! This is the cafe that I mentioned in my previous post, the one ET brought me and treated me. Thanks pal :)

Yesterday, BF and I decided to go Liang Court and we tried the food there. He loved the food too. The bill came out to S$29.19 for one smoke duck appetizer, two hamburg steaks and free flow of drinks. Affordable prices! Best of all, it's my treat 'cuz it's payday! wahahaha~

Pictures taken at Clark Q~

After the dinner, we went to clark Q to check out the Singaporeans' night life. I missed my night life. Shall plan a night out to Clark Q to chill out :D
Drove back to Bishan to watch the movie Taken. I would personally recommend this movie, one of the best action thriller I have seen so far. Some of the scenes still linger in my brain. It's kinda sad to know such things exist. I shall not reveal too much details here..

There was this sentence I find it very cool: “If you let my daughter go now, that’ll be the end of it. But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you, and I will kill you.”

Sauna Weather

I don't like the current weather in Singapore. Damn it. The weather is damn warm. It has been ongoing for a couple of weeks and even my mood is affected sometimes :(

Today is a nuai day for me. It has something to do with that fateful day standing whole day at the exhibition. Ended up, I got jelly legs and felt so tired standing, doing nothing.. Haha.. I guess I still prefer sitting in the office. Pls forget what I mentioned in my previous post about my liking in moving outdoors. I have to admit I am getting old.

Speaking of the exhibition, ET & I met up for dinner at Liang court after the event. He brought me to a restaurant serving Japanese & Italian food. Yummy prices and yummy food! I will bring my BF there again. Cant rem the name though.

I woke up around 11 plus. Surfed net etc then my LCD screen suddenly turned blank! The signs are here. It's hinting me my LCD is EOL soon and needs to replace a bigger screen soon!

SeaAsia 2009

My company has set up the booth at Suntec Exhibition hall for the SeaAsia. My duty will be on the last day of the exhibition which will be the worst day of my life! Need to pack and clear up the things before we can knock off. Hope I don't kana "arrow" by Ms Cutie. :S
In a way, I still prefer to move my butt outdoors. Think of the positive side, I will get to stand there stress-free and checking out guys gals. And probably some window shopping too. hohoho..

I would love to meet new people and make new friends (:
I hope some of my customers will come over to say hi. Want to know how they look in person. lol.

Work isn't busy these days, consider moderate. Don't know if it is a good thing or not. One thing for sure, my colleagues have become more pleasant and don't often pull a long face. We smile at one another these days, we stop for chats and offer snacks to one another. Work environment is more enjoyable. We don't complain so much!!!

I am very contented with my life right now and hope no one takes it away...

Finally I have just received the pictures from BF, have been waiting eagerly for them and BF is playing hard to give me those. Hmpf!

Here are the pictures taken on Sat :)

Handsome suit

Caught this move with my bunch of colleagues last night at Tiong Bahru. It's a comedy movie but not really up to my standard. I din really have a good laugh throughout the movie. The main actor is handsome though and I am only attracted to that!

I could remember vividly about one scene where Motoe and Takura were walking to the park and Motoe taught Takura how to find happiness on their way back. Basically its a game where they have to snap pictures of happy people and then take another 10 steps to snap another similar picture until they reach their destination. Seeing happy pictures make one happy isn't it? Nice part on that :)

Saw alot of chio bu in the movie, very pretty and alluring. haha. Guys out there, you will love the Jap gals in the movie. By the way, if you still remember that movie "200 pounds beauty", you will probably find that better. My 2 cents worth. :D

BF and I went to the newly-opened Iluma shopping mall. Nothing much, but the place is spacious. Probably more shops will open in due time. Had our early dinner at Benten Cafe, ordered hamburger steak and pizza.

We then walked over to Suntec mall and then to Raffles city. I have been tempting to buy my face powder for a long time and I bought it finally using my $20 Robinson vouchers. I love the Anna Sui white casing. =D

Confessions of a Lazy bum

Haha.. Four days away from work. Took day off to go for my facial. Haha.. I am the kind who will take day off for nothing, to do simple stuffs or even just to go home sleep. lol. Thats me. The real confessions of a lazy bum.

Went shopping with Tyan at Far East. She also took day off with me.. haha.. I bought a few things while waiting for that little gal who's late by half an hour.. Her lateness has resulted me to spend $$$ but anyway I am quite happy with my buys. hehe. Plan to wear the clothes to work soon~ Had lunch at 5th floor and then more shopping! I also bought a pink dress.. Really my style, those sweet and innocent look. haha. Puke!

Our facial appt was at 5pm but Tyan got the place wrong.. haha, in the end we took a cab that was just 10 mins ride from Bras Basah complex to Plaza by the Park and already cost us $8.50! OMG... Expensive ride~

This is recommended by Tyan ~ Giman Beauty

Not bad, the place was not very big but the service was quite good. Partly because we used the trial vouchers so the beauticans were more attentive to 1st time comers. Tyan and me shared the couple room and there was a huge jacuzzi bathtub inside.. haha.. but of cuz we din get to sit inside the tub la.. Our facial session lasted for 1.5 hours which we were then leaded to a room and that's where the hard-selling started. I am amazed by how Tyan replied to the sales lady. haha~ She is really a joker.

Verdict: My face is smoother than usual but I don't intend to sign up any facial package and make myself poorer! Anyway I bought 2 more trial vouchers and intend to bring BF there.. Hope the sales lady will not brain-wash us till we sign up a package on that day.. This is meant for a small surprise for BF but I am too anxious to reveal it here cuz I know he will be delighted to know that!

Happy Easter Sunday

Random updates...
I have watched Knowing. Personally I feel that the beginning and ending of the story doesn't seem to match together. At the beginning, I was drawn to the disaster scenes like the plane crash and train derailed. Cage was trying ways to stop more disasters from happening based on the numbers. Worst part is, the "whisper people" turned out to be Aliens! Crappy ending. The ending could have end with another big disaster and that Cage managed to save the lives of his loved ones by solving the missing numbers. The Aliens should not be included inside the movie. Then that could make it more perfect. haha.

For those who want to watch it, dun expect too much of the ending.

JS - Our lovely home in 2 years time!

BF and I drove to Yishun to take pictures of our BTO flat and we noticed something! On the board, it was written expected date of completion on Jan 2011!! Wow... It's been pushed earlier and it means we will get our flat in about 2 years time. So exciting... So I don't have to wait for 3 years liao and this is good news to us for a start.. hehe.

We went IKEA to have our early dinner and also to buy the clothes rack for BF's mum. But it was temporarily out of stock.. Hmmm.. I spotted some things that I want to get from IKEA.. for our future house!

I am still feeling the pain of my sunburn skin + a little itchy.. Awghhh~

Happy Easter Sunday!
I woke up early for the church service. Today music was great. There was a band playing up the atmosphere and I got so motivated to sing louder. haha. During one part, I got emotional and shed some tears. GOD has touched my heart and I hope He has touched yours too.

I'm off tomorrow for a facial!
It's been ages since I had one. Well, it's time to pamper my little face.

Sentosa Outing + Steamboat buffet

Tanjong beach
I really enjoyed myself fully for the Public Holiday (Good Friday). Never had so much fun for the longest time!
Planned an outdoor activity with my dearest colleagues to Sentosa this morning. We had our breakfast at Harbourfront MAC before one of my colleagues JN picked us up. It was a sunny day, with no rain to ruin our moods.. We simply loved the hot weather!

We drove to Tanjong beach. Heard that there are alot of dogs there and less crowded. My colleague brought his dog Sushi along too.
Luckily we were there early and we managed to find one empty shelter to unpack our stuffs. Imagine if we were late by one min, we could have to endure under the hot sun with our snacks, drinks and ice cubes we bought!
Haha. Looked like we weren't good at beach volleyball. we kept picking up the ball and it seemed more tired chasing after the rolling ball than hitting it! lol. We need some more practice! After playing for some time, we decided to dip into the water. It was so fun splashing water at one another and soaking ourselves with seawater under the hot sun. We also played poker cards: Heart attack. Fun leh. I want to go there again!

We had a quick shower and left the beach around 2pm. JN drove us to vivocity but he did not join us for lunch because he has to bathe Sushi. We had lunch at The Chicken Rice shop. Ordered a set meal for five of us. Suddenly Eni doesn't feel good and looked pale. Think it's gastric pain. We quickly brought her to the nearest taxi stand. I wished to accompany them to SGH but BF was on the way to meet me. My colleagues were understanding enough that I couldn't join them. Relieved that her condition was minor.

It was raining heavily by then. There was a jam and BF reached much later. We headed straight home for a short nap before our 2nd round.

I got abit of sunburn on my back because I forgot to apply my back. haha. I only applied sunblock on my arms, legs and neck. When I touched my skin, it felt so painful so BF helped to apply aloe vera gel on the affected areas but it doesn't seem to get any better. Hee...

Steamboat buffet
2nd round of the day - La Mei Zi 辣妹子 at Thomson road. I seldom have steamboat outside because I find it costly. But for this one, the price is reasonable at $15 nett per head. The can drinks are only $1 each! I had a good serving of the crab pincer. They were so big and with so much meat inside. Yummy! I remembered the other places I went have little varieties and no crabs like these! haha.. I ate alot than usual. Even when my bf stopped eating, I still continued to drink another bowl of soup. haha. I like to drink soups alot. I am very satisfied with the place and will recommend this to my friends. The service was good, especially the boss (I think?). He was prompt and friendly. I want to go there again but will prefer to sit outdoors instead. :D

After ending the two hours dinner, we walked over to United Square for MAC ice-cream, drink and cake! My bf lo... he likes MAC ice-cream cuz it's cheaper!!!

The Journey to Pasir Ris Pet farm...

It was a wet and gloomy weather but it did not keep us from visiting the puppies. The rain stopped soon after we reached the pet farms. Too bad I can't take those pics.
I love the cute puppies lots!

Forget to add on, the church bought a cake for those whose birthdays fall under April month. Here are some snaps shots! Des is one of those who gets to blow out the candle.

Sales at Hyatt and Grandma's 87th Birthday

I got excited when sis told us last night about the BIG sales holding at Hyatt. So we decided not to miss this one. We reached there early this morning but still had to queue! With the economic downturn, people still can buy things. haha. Luckily we were there early, if not I don't think there were any good things to pick. Brands like Gap, Raoul, Guess.... were having more than 50% discount. The ballroom was filled with people early in the morning, snatching and grabbing whatever caught their eyes. I bought BF a Raoul shirt and a Guess evening bag for myself. My bro got for himself a Raoul shirt, tie and a pair of Gap jeans. He can be such a spendthrift than any of us! Well, Sis and Mum left the place empty-handed. I could not stand the heavy crowd after an hour. I surrendered! Indeed, I am getting old.

We had lunch at Hans and then more shopping was done at Far East. I got a really cheap pair of heels and crop pants for myself. Hehe.. ~ I like sales, especially now economy is bad, everything is cheap that I keep on buying and buying. My colleagues teased me said everyday they see me in different outfits.

I went to Bishan to meet BF to watch Departures. It's a really touching and emotional show. There were some scenes which made me so sad and I controlled my tears from rolling. The feeling of losing a kin is really depressing. I will learn to love my loved ones more...

After the movie, we drove to 10th aunt's place to celebrate Grandma's 87th birthday. Everyone gathered at the function room for dinner buffet, followed by cake-cutting section. My cousins brought their dogs along and I was so in love with the dogs. Wish BF and I can own one someday. Hehe. We tried to sound my mum out about adopting one, but she replied "no way!" Looks like I have to procrastinate our plans or maybe we should turn to BF's mum for approval?

I am so tired, I have been out the whole day. Seems like I have accomplished alot of things today. Tomorrow I have to go church. I have skipped the session for 3 weeks!!

Rain and Des are back from their Japan trip and bought me some nice souvenirs. Decided to take a picture of them before the snacks end up in my stomach. haha!

Gifts from Rain and Des

Next upcoming movie to watch.... Knowing!!! I know BF wanted to watch this movie for a long time.. hehe.. Finally it is screening in Singapore! I like Nicholas Cage.

Okuribito "Departures"

I want to catch this movie.

Reviews were good and friends also recommended this movie too. Of course, I am selective when it comes to recommendations. It depends on what kind of movies I am into. For me, I am into romance, touching and action movies. From the reviews, I believe I will like it alot.

I'll probably catch it tomorrow or Saturday. But the timing from GV is not very good, so maybe, I will just wait for their DVD to release.

I was chatting with BF over at Skype in the office. Today he is on leave to run an important task. haha.. He is very secretive but my 6th sense on his every move is 99% accurate. You can never hide from me! lalalalala~
