Hello Cat Socrates

I signed up for the Cozycot Holy Grail Party recently planning to check this event out. I've not been there before and was drawn to curiosity. As I was held up by church service so in the end, Wanyu and Felicia went to peek-a-boo there first. Wanyu then rang me up and told me there was nothing fascinating.

So we changed venue to Bugis instead. We did a little window shopping and went to Cat Socrates hidden in a lonesome corner @ Bras Basah. The cafe's seats were all taken up so we could only do with cam-whoring inside the shop! (after seeking the staff's permission.)

The gals are great at posing and I have alot to learn from them. Here are some sneak photos! More photos can be found in my Facebook.

The cafe is petite and can only cater a few people. Here is a nice atmosphere for self-reading and discussion, not for big groups though.

The typical YMCA pose!

I definitely will drop by again on one lazy afternoon!

Dinner with sales team

It was a well-deserved meal over at Himawari @ Alexandra road. My colleagues were great fans for Japanese food and they kept ordering non-stop because it's a buffet dinner. I could not imagine how much I ate that day because my tummy felt bloated after the dinner.

The restaurant was not very huge and could only a
ccommodate a few tables. In total there were 11 of us at the table!

Thanks to the sales guys for the treat who have always been generous to the ladies! Seriously when everyone was off duty, we all started making cranky jokes and laughed at one another.

After the dinner, uncle Lawrence took charge to send me, Meifang, Sarinah and Jody back home safely and I was the last to reach home as he was just staying around the corner.

I'm really thankful I was well-taken care of by my colleagues and it will be a tad difficult to let go if one day I make up my mind to leave.

Photo shoot

A few days back, my colleagues and I visited Botanic gardens for a photo shoot for Floyd and Verane. Our meeting point was at Ben & Jerry ice-cream parlour before heading to our destination.

Unfortunately on that day, the weather turned out to be gloomy after a rain and you might notice some of the sky in greyish white tone. If not for the greyish sky, I am certain the pictures would turn out more fabulous. In fact, I find that it's more challenging to capture a lovely smile of a baby cuz you will not be able to tell when they will grin.

Here are some lovely photos with courtesy by my BF. Enjoy!

Picnic, cycling, dinner combo

Someone has ever told me never to blog company affairs or even leave something negative on other internet resources that may be traceable and lead to your bosses viewing them. I feel it's true, it's professionalism and never should be neglected. I used to blog about company affairs but I have since stopped doing it. Personal feelings should only be shared among your trusted friends and kin.

2009.2009 is a special date to those who are getting married! Congrats to Faith who is holding her ROM today. Though I do not personally know her, still I would like to wish her and her partner a blissful marriage!

As for us, we planned a picnic cum cycling combo! We rented doubles for 2 hours and cycled to a more deserted area to have our mini picnic and chit-chat time!

Our mini picnic is just one simple course of sandwiches filled with ham, cheese, egg mayo, tomato and cucumber. Busy is the word. Preparation will definitely be much better next time!

We headed to 'Everything with Fries' cafe at Joo Chiat which BF has suggested. There were 5 different kinds of flavour to choose for the fries and the staff told us curry was one of their big hits!

There were many books for reading but it seemed inappropriate here. I can't find the mood of reading here as the place is abit cramped and u could almost hear conversations from the next table.

But we simply love Enid Blyton's books! I wondered where my childhood books have gone to?

My mains for dinner. Price was reasonable and staff were attentive and fast.

Fairytale dreams do come true.

This place is a rare find! I'm very certain every gal dreams of having ice-cream in a fairytale lookalike theme right? Thanks to my sister for the great recommendation and BF for bringing us there on a Friday night!

It started off with dinner at Baystreet 21 at IMM and then we headed straight in search of this fairytale cafe!

There were so many nice flavours to choose from and it's hard to make a choice sometimes!

Ice Dream Land cafe is made up of five different themes to suit every girl's desire :)

I was drawn by the carriage and garden theme the moment I stepped in. Thanks goodness there was no customer in sight and we started cam-whoring for almost 30 minutes!

This is the carriage that was specially designed for Ice Dream Land cafe. I felt like a princess when I sat inside!

This is the lovers' room. Red sofa and see-through curtains, simple alluring!

This is the fireplace theme. Table suits a group of 4 to 6 people.

Recently, I'm attracted to curtains. lol.

Our yummy-licious desserts! Every flavour is so nice!

Thank you Ice Dream Land cafe! You made every gal's dream come true!
