I havent been updating regularly since my first & the last entry about my HK trip for april. I have been busy dat i almost neglect my blog :( ... physically and mentally, i need rest! when is my coll coming back.... so many issues to follow up... i have lost track of some... when can i tell myself that everything will soon be over & my efforts will pay off....
Just as I was trying to get over how i had spent my $$$ on my last HK trip with barely enough to pay off my bills for this mth, my mum told me she strike 4D!!! hohoho.... My mum's generosity has always touched me... this may be a little amount but definitly helped me to take care of my bills and other misc. lurves =)

HK 9th to 12th Apr 08
It was a short holiday break for me at the right time as I have been struggling for the past 1 month while my coll was on maternity leave and with my manager gone.
Here's our updates for our little honeymoon:
exchange rate: S$1 : HKD5.6
Bf & I woke up super early to catch the morning flight at 0640hrs. Upon arrival, took their citybus A21 to our YMCA hotel. costs HK33/each which is cheaper compare to other means of transport. journey takes abt 40mins. during the first day we headed down to mongkok for lunch,we were served with hot tea. tot it was meant for drinking but saw alot of pp put their chopsticks & spoons inside the tea to cleanse and we followed suit.. hehe.. did some shopping ard the area. went Sogo and Harbour city, all the luxury brands could be found there. had dinner, roasted duck *yummy* at cafe de coral (their food court), walked down to avenue of stars at TST to catch symphony of lights showing at 8pm. drink the Xu Liu Shan.. very nice! went back hotel to rest as we had been walking almost the whole day.
On the 2nd day, we took MTR to Tung chung station, took the 20mins cable car ride up to Ngong Ping village, very nice view of Lantau island. went to see the Giant buddha. had our lunch nearby.. after dat, took cable car back to MTR, took the disney train.. so cute the handles. purchased the disney tix at HK295/each. when we reached, the disney parade was abt to start. it was quite worth it, esp seeing my long time fav characters and the disney fireworks at 7.30pm. took train back to hotel to put our stuffs then headed back to mongkok for late dinner and shopping. Luckily the shops closed quite late.
On the 3rd day, had tim sum for breakfast cum lunch. quite full.. went to Mongkok & Prince Edward area (Fa Yuen, Argyle street) and langham place, checked out their local brand H & M but did not get anything, went to find the Mongkok computer ctr but walked a few times until we asked around for directions.. phew! Gosh, we always passed by the area but never saw it. the cameras there selling dirt cheap. took MTR to central. took the 45 degree peak tram up the victoria peak. watched the Madame Tussaud wax museum, then had our coffee break at Gloria jeans while watchin the sunset... so nice feeling! the weather was rather foggy thus din take nice pics up there. took MTR back, walked over to temple street but nothing much so we went to Ladies street.
On the last day, we walked ard Mongkok & along the shops at nathan Rd, spent our final shopping there. took the citybus back to airport... the flight was delayed for almost an hr, got home ard 2am.. luckily the past few days din rain.. thank god!
HK is reli similar to Spore, but given a choice, i still prefer Taiwan. so much to see & buy! hehe... next upcoming trip with bf!
