Welcoming 2010

I haven't been updating my blog for 2 weeks. Really busy and tired with meet-ups. Since it's a Christmas season, how can I be at home blogging? lol.

I'll try to update in my coming weekend. Goodbye 2009! Welcome 2010! Enjoy your New Year celebration everyone!

17th Dec Christmas Celebration

I have lost track where to start.. Luckily, I have the photos to remind me!! I will start off with the Christmas lunch in office, then dinner at Oosh on 17th Dec.

My colleague and I suggested a Christmas lunch in office as we still have unused fund for sales dept. Although our big boss is a Christian but we don't have any X'mas celebration, sounds weird right? Never mind, we decided our celebration. We started with our budget and counted how many staff will be available on 17th. It's a small scale that we were organising so planning made easy.

Most were impressed with the buffet we ordered, the food were nice and yummy.

After work, the gals and I took cab down to Dempsey road to Oosh for dinner and chill-out. I have been there twice and I do like their ambience. Unfortunately, there was no live band to sing for us at the Oosh bar since it's a weekday. But also meant a good thing 'cuz it's quiet and we had private time and space to ourselves! =)

It's very rare we can have such event 'cuz most days we are busy with work and commitment. Letting off our stress and enjoyed an evening with the gals were wonderful memories!

P.S: I have watched AVATAR 3D and I simply loved it! I don't mind watching it again if anyone wants to sponsor me a ticket. LOL!

AVATAR 3D

Saw the preview of this movie AVATAR. I want to watch this in 3D!!!

There are a few X'mas pressies that I'm still looking around. Late Christmas shopping is always so rush but I don't want to buy just for the sake of buying! I want to personally pick something suitable for my friends based on my understanding of them. I feel that this is more sincere than the price tag of the gifts.

I have less than a week to decide what to buy. I hope I'll get them done this weekend!

Events that I'm looking forward to:

  • dinner cum gift exchange @ OOSH with the gals
  • meeting friends for gift exchange
  • Pyjamas X'mas theme party @ Des & Rain's house
  • Countdown 2010 at Park Royal Hotel

Christmas lightings

Last Saturday, BF and I headed down to town again for Christmas shopping. This time, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchases as mostly were my stuffs. hehe. Sad to say, I did not find anything suitable for my colleagues' gift exchange!

Some photos while shopping along Orchard road. There were a few Christmas trees being missed out 'cuz our hands were occupied with paper bags and already exhausted from the shopping. So what you can see from the photos below were those we took when we happened to pass by.

To be continue on the coming weekend again..

28th Birthday celebration Part I

Riders Cafe @ Bukit Timah Saddle Club

Bf picked me up early in the morning to the first venue of my birthday celebration. Our early day started having brunch at Riders cafe. Nothing beats having a marvellous brunch to start off our day. Riders cafe spoils us by having a wide selection of brunches to choose from and I can see the riders breakfast @ S$13 is a big hit.

This cafe is situated in a tranquil and serene envir
onment amidst the lush greeneries. You would be surprised that such a place exists in Singapore. We saw a few horses while finding a parking lot. But didn't had a chance to take photo with those horses and I wish I could ride on it. haha. I will surely come again for my brunch! I love greenish scenery!

Here are the photos but it's only 1st half for the day as my birthday celebration doesn't end that fast. keke
.

Mine may look simple but it's just as nice as the Riders breakfast that BF ordered!

28th Birthday celebration Part II

Desire at The Scarlet hotel
Our next venue was to Orchard to get my proposal ring altered as it was too big and always slipping off from my finger. Bf did a little shopping and bought a pair of Pedro working shoes and I sighed as I didn't manage to get any Christmas gifts for friends and myself.

The Christmas tree at Wisma

The next venue would be The Scarlet Hotel. I have always love this beautiful, stylish hotel and hoping one day I can stay inside for one night. But I know the prices are steep and it's gonna be a huge hole in BF's pocket. lol.

We had our romantic dinner at Desire which is voted one of Wine and Dine Singapore’s Top Restaurant in 2008. I'm so touched BF remembered I have mentioned to him before that I would want to try Desire next time. (After our dinner at Breeze in 2007. Breeze is sited at the rooftop of The Scarlet hotel.) That was almost 3 years ago!

Our appetizer comes with fresh oyster, prawn, scallop, fish egg and soft shell crab. Nothing is beatable to this!

BF ordered the lamp chop and meat was tender and smooth.

I had the Kurobuta Pork Belly with cripsy skin. As usual, it never failed my taste buds!

I still love taking photos with this sofa. It greatly reminded me the first time I was here with BF celebrating Valentine's Day in 2007.

And I know one day I want to bring these lights home!
