the theme for this year is Rhymes in bloom. the nursery rhymes u heard when u were young.. it was raining when we were taking pics halfway & damn we waited for an hr for it to stop. however it was a fruitful trip as i reli love taking pics! haha.. i tink we took over 100+ pics. the colours are very vibrant & the pics captured are so well-taken! we took the sentosa new express train back to vivo city.. so convenient sia but then someone farted inside the train. damn smelly.. made our hearts boil..

We decided to take cab back to the guys hse to lao yu sheng cuz its 人日 but we cant find the stupid taxi stand in vivo city! finally we found it after taking wrong turns!

Rogues for lunch

Specially took 1/2 day leave to a/c bb .... actually it's the other way round! he a/c me : P brought bb to Rogues at market street, saw the recommendation from magz so decided to try the food there but i din knw the price is over my budget.. haaaa... never mind as long the food is worth the price, can le! the ambience is aso nice too. it's rare to spot fine dining at CBD area.. i saw alot of ang mohs & big bosses walked in.. kaoz.. overall, the food is spendid.. we finished everything means its GOOD! let the pictures proved it...

after our lunch,we went to central mall.. but nothing much..the shops only abt 70% opened so we headed to orchard. damn pissed, raining on my shopping day??!! finally i bought my dress dat i 'aimed' v long.. a vintage dress.. cool.. then we went isetan to buy bb's BOXERS & borders to buy a sushi cookbook.. heee... tis is goin to be the start of me becoming a gd housewife in future.. am i tinking too far ahead?? haaaa..

CNY - Oink oink year

every CNY is so mono to me... its relatives visit & then collecting ang baos.. When i was young, i used to like CNY, i can buy new clothes & have more $$$. but nw, as i grow older, the only thing i wana do is rest at hm... im becoming more like a pig this year.. dats wat my bb said! gosh! tink i shd belonged to pig's year.

This year, i decided to invest my ang baos $ in a gucci wallet... hoooooo... i cant resist that design. its simple, classic & petite size. juz wat i want for very long.

CNY day 1: went to my uncle's hse wif my family. then I left shortly to mit rain as we were goin to bb's granny's hse at serangoon to have steamboat. it's always so nice to eat wif a big family & i reli liked it when bb served me wif the food while i was busi gobbling up the food...

CNY day 2: BB came to my grandma's hse to bai nian.. its his 2nd visit le.. kekeke.. pple are asking when its our turn to 'pai' ang baos... damn stress in future! i have so many cousins!! we left after having our dinner.. no poker games tis yr, tink my cousins all have their family commitments so some left earlier than us. bb & i went to mariott hotel! dun get it wrong, we did not book a room there.. haaaa.. instead it's bb's aunt who booked the room! we were there to build up the atmosphere! as usual, DR (des & rain), bb & i have many rounds of poker games while some of them were playing mahjong... we left hm ard 10.30pm..

CNY day 3: i was hm resting cum watching tv.. after dat, mit bb at far east for shopping. too bad, some shops not open yet. so it was empty-handed for me. we went to Liang court to mit DR for dinner then went to central mall, the new shopping mall near clark Q. had our small bites at TCC after dat.. one of our fav chill-out restaurants.. haaaaaa...

CNY day 4: its back to wk again! sianz... had CNY buffet in office then it was gambling time in the late afternoon. offically approved by management. tink all of us no mood to wk for the whole of this week but terror begins next week! in the evening went to rain's hse for steamboat.. yummy food.. suddenly i feel hungry again when i wrote this. haha

CNY day 5: met up wif eileen to pass her some stuffs during lunch. finally this gal is free to mit me liao. it's been ages we go shopping together. i missed those days, the endless shopping sprees, gossips & giggles.. thankful she squeezed some time for me! in the evening DR & bb came to my hse for dinner. my mum prepared a feast for us. she played a good host unlike me, dun knw hw to cook!! i muz reli buck up!!!

A new hp is on the way... heee.. flowers are expensive on valentine's day so i told him tis yr not to buy flowers for me. i would rather he spend it on something i reli love .. a new hp!

shopping has never ever been dat tough on a sat, especially when cny is coming.. tdy i saw alot of pple shopping for cny clothes at bugis. the air-con in the mrt, bus & the mall seem to die. the weather was hell hot dat my body was bursting wif heaps of perspirations. my flesh was screaming with pain. im feeling like a roasted chick. i lost my appetite in shopping.

i gave up.

Finally bf & i decided to head straight to far east cuz his sis's shop is somewhere there. we always like to seek refuge there.. haha..~ anyway glad i finally bought my cny clothes! phew, no more pondering! after dat, we mit rain+des at AMK to have our crab feast. dinner was sponsored by our Mr XY.. celebration for his new job! thanks dear! as usual, we ordered butter crab & chilli crab. their speciality. after dinner headed to the new amk shoppin mall (juz beside mrt) the mall is quite huge. so many new shops! it occurs to me why i have never tot of shopping at west area, it's juz not so tempting to me..

Hmmm... i dun knw if i shd take the risk but anyway i tink i can no longer stand staying in a place where work has never been recognised. All the pretence is a lie. After cny, i will let heaven decide my destiny. it's time i grow my roots elsewhere.

I muz admit this yr bf has made a good effort to plan our valentine's day.. thumbs up! dats hw this place got into his idea. The scarlet hotel has been well-known for its exquisite boutique rooms.. i reli like their L'amour designs.. when i walked into the lobby, it's so glamourous! hoping one day i can stay there for a nite.. hehe..

their signature restaurant - Breeze reminded me of villa Bali, the outdoor, relaxed atmosphere. except difference was the restaurant was located on the rooftop of the hotel overseeing the shophouses at chinatown.. a spendid moment sipping into our mocktails as the wind blew into our faces, enjoying the sunset together. the ambience is juz too perfect for a romantic date! hee.. the desire restaurant at the ground level also looks romantic.. will drop by there someday!

p.s: im so touched when bf told me he prayed for me at church tdy.. ^_^ reli count my blessings to 'own' a man who is so caring, romantic & cute..

This show is damn good! have been catching this every nite w/o fail.. no matter how tired i was. i even managed to influence my bf to watch it.. hehe.. Its abt politics betw the imperial concubines in the palace.. sometimes i wonder do such ppl really exist, plotting against one another? anyway, i realise its difficult for mi to make decisions on who i can trust. i can only believe in my intuition. its sad dat we cant simplify things... i guess i still have a long way to learn..

Brought BB to Cosafe Maid Cafe for our anniversary. They only have a small indoor corner while the majority seats are at the garden. the place was so crowded sia. due to the constant rain, we were arranged to sit near the pathway instead of the outdoor. it was unbearable as there was no privacy wif pple passing by.. the food was more on the expensive side. Never go on a sat unless u have booked beforehand. its damn packed and the 'maids' sometimes were busi to treat us like 'master' & 'missy' .. anyway its still a gd concept. i always hope ppl would bring in such interesting concepts from Japan and i hope to be the next one! Theres other places on my list yet to bring him.. lets discover these places one by one! ^_^

Finally managed to try the mini cupcakes i ordered! tasted sweet though but it also means our love is as sweet as the cupcakes!!!

dun jio me to eat an expensive meal & shopping, i cant afford any for this week until pay day! i bought so many stuffs tis week dat i cant recall wat they are. i decided a change in my wardrobe, dats all i knw. dumped all those silly clothes dat made me look silly. i need space. space for more new clothes. * grin*

Preparation for CNY... goin to get some feathers to revamp my private collection corner.. heehee.

After some research, i have a few places in mind to bring bb for our 2 yrs anniversary.. im sure he will like it.. :D so excited!

Our boss let us knock off at 3pm to prepare ourselves for the D & D. Some of them went for hair-do & make-up. For me, i kept myself simple.. went over to Ting's hse to doll ourselves pretty. I brought some eye colors & help some of my colleagues to put on their make-up.. my skills not bad sia.. haha... it was my first D & D i have attended. and it was spendid! everyone looked their best & had great fun.

Its also black chicken last day tonite.. she's flying to US for a holiday! We got her a baby-G watch & an album full of our photographs & love notes for her farewell gift... Only 'she' gets this kind of privilege she muz be reli touched. hehe. we reli will miss her. we do... *sob sob*

was in high mood for shopping! bought 2 pairs of lovely heels & gold hoop earrings! retail therapy does help to get away all my bitterness. or rather, it was cuz i had a gd time wif bb & his frens.

Wat a small world indeed.. One of his frens found me familiar & after some conversation, we realised she knew my sis as they were in the same sec sch! she aso knew which sec sch i came from cuz she saw me in my uniform before (i guess my over-size uniform was too weird) and she is just staying a street away from my sec sch. OMG, wat a disgrace! haha.. i used to look so gong! not to mention.. one of the guys is also jojo's army fren! bb's frens are such fun-loving gang dat i would love to click wif! Oh my, they dun look their real age. i swear.

we went k-singing at partyworld wif bb & his poly gang at chinatown. we had the famous Hainanese chicken rice for dinner along smith street. Yummies! after makan, we walked over to settlers cafe but it was fully packed. we dun knw where to head next & one of bb's frens suggested 'Eski bar'.. wooooo.. i have always heard abt this place so was pretty excited abt going. when i walked in, i felt like i was back in aussie.. haaa.. the cold air reli got into my nerves dat i had to ask for a jacket shortly after i sat dwn. luckily there's free rental for jackets if not, i will die there.

bb & i ordered lychee martini & the rest had snowball, pineapple rum, beer. it was a great place to chill out in the cold. juz rem to wear jeans cuz they only have rental for jackets. i was wearin a short skirt & had to bear the cold.. my legs feel numb soon after... hehe.

decided to go for a haircut... becoming the next china doll.. LOL

my first 2007 resolution

I finally tot of my first resolution for 2007 * hurray*

The first thing i need is to brush up my culinary skills. i want to learn jap cooking. i want to learn to make my first sushi! i knw most ppl find it easy but to me, every basic step looks tough on me. *cry* i want to be confident in something dat personally i feel its easy to pick up. and we decided, bf & i will take up the class together, tis way we can motivate each other & compete who makes the best sushi.. hee.. kidding..

this is the first step to fulfill one of my goals of previous year. seriously, i have many goals awaiting me but i tink this is the easiest, let me have a gd start wif this first, no more empty promises to myself :D

Sayin welcome to 2007

bb & i went to the new ikea at Tampines on the first day of 2007. journey was superb long plus the enormous crowd. but it was worth it! why? cuz i love ikea cafe. i love the chicken wings & swedish meatballs. delicious! the queue was pretty long, thanks bb for his patience! rain & des aso joined us shortly & we spent the rest of our 3 hrs gathering inspirations from ikea. hehe.

after dat, we headed to courts, bb & his bro wanted to buy a dryer for their mum but in the end, they did not see one dat fits their budget.. realise courts 'copy' the concept of ikea like having an indoor cafe premises. haaa. but i din try the food there! we then took bus back to bishan & had a earthquake ice-cream @ Swensens to pamper ourselves! my wish for 2007 is to gain a bit of weight for the new yr!

so tdy i have offically decided on some inspiring ideas on how to deco our hse in future. i love red, cosy sofas, i love wallpaper, i love beautiful lamps.. i love a nice, big wardrobe where i can place all my pretty stuffs in! i love everything dat bb & i <3 !

Saying goodbye to 2006

The taiwan earthquake has made me very free for the last 2 days until tdy, the internet was finally fixed. I spent my precious few days of 2006, idling ard in the office, munching food away.. but it all ended too fast, i tot i can wait another 2 weeks to get the internet up, instead it was fixed tdy.. :(

In abt 2 days time, yr 2007 is approaching.. Im not reli dat fascinated abt the new yr as im still in the midst of finding my life.. it seems for the past 2 yrs i have been goin thru every day w/o thinkin how my life is goin to work. its like juz waking up from a dream. OMG...

I read abt 'chicken' and 'sagittarius'.. they say it's a gd year for a switch.. hmmm.. i hope one day i am lucky enuf to get a pay dat pays me my desired digits.. hehe..~

nx mth will be our 2 years anniversary, time flies fast within a click. this time round, it will b my turn to plan our special day.. i have oredi got it lay out.. heee.. the place i will b bringing him will be our first time there.. im nt sure hw wonderful the ambience is. but i believe it shd do fine. lets all wait till dat day! *wink*
