Wedding fitting

It's been some time since my last two fittings. I'm not allow to take photos at the bridal studio so I had to smuggle my HP into the fitting room secretly and snapped them while I had to hold on to my gown cuz the gown was unzipped.

Here are the blurry shots taken in a rush, pls excuse my stiff pose too! I have to shortlist five pieces for my indoor and outdoor photoshoot. But some of the photos you see here are not what I have chosen.

My wedding photoshoot will be on my birthday. Hope God will give us a good weather on this special day. ^^

Personally I prefer the 1st, 2nd and 5th gown. Let me explain why.

All along, I wanted a mermaid gown as one of my choices. Slim people will suit mermaid cut the most, especially those with small butt. Me loh!

FYI, the gown is not exactly what you see here. The actual gown comes with black roses which wasn't attach to the gown while I took the pic and of cuz, alternation needs to be done at the butt area. I was planning to wear a huge black hairpiece with black gloves to match the mermaid gown to give a dramatic effect. Will check with the designer if suitable :)

Next piece is the latest collection for AD gowns for this year which has a tulip cut. It may not be the latest by next yr May but still I like the design with the bubbly effect. I noticed the manequin wearing it during my 2nd visit so I asked Sia to let me try. The first reaction my sister and HL gave was "Wow, finally I looked so much like a princess!"

I like to wear something casual and funky so I picked this ballerina dress. This way, I can pose in whatever kind of poses I want! hehe. But I need to get a nice pair of heels to match this outfit.

Counting down...

2 weeks to my taiwan holiday with BF;

1 month to Ohdear photoshoot;

1.5 months to my wedding photoshoot;

And... 7 months to my actual wedding!

Ohdear! photography

Mulling over the three outfits to wear for my upcoming Ohdear! Photography - Natural Vintage engagement shoots in Nov which I had signed up three months back! It's gonna be a vintage and casual shoot so all I want is to wear something comfortable for me to pose with! I intend to wear something different, something unusual but I need a little push of courage to do it... so let's see if I can get nice stuff from Taipei. Taipei here we come in 3 more weeks! :)

A few months ago, I came across this fashion community: Chictopia where people all over the world dress to chic and post their shots. All sorts of styles can be found here. If you need some inspiration on dressing up, be inspired by the fashion divas here. Of course there were some who made fashion statement a disaster!

I'm still thinking if i should wear ruffle ankle socks paired with a pair of heels. It seems to be in trend now. That used to be my childhood love! Was it yours too?

Some looks here that I'm intending to explore. :)

What a nightmare to be sick

I woke up around 3am in cold sweat with my stomach feeling discomfort. I couldn't figure out what was wrong so I struggled to get back to sleep only to find myself throwing up half an hour later. Around 5 am, I vomitted twice again. Yucks!

This time, I felt myself nauseaous and weaker all over. Went to see the doc around 9 plus and queued for almost an hour. It was a terrible waiting time and the last thing on my mind was to hit the sack. Doctor said maybe the buffet food I had previous night was unclean or I ate too full and I was given 2 days mc.. It puzzled me, the buffet I had was at TMC's anniversary dinner but the rest who ate the food were okay, except me. :(

I do not have such problems in the past. It occurs to me that I am getting old and needs to watch my diet. I just hope that such occurances will not happen during my TW trip! ^.^

Dinner treat for ET

A long-waited dinner treat for ET at Firestation Gastrobar. I couldn't decide where to bring him for dinner. Finally decided here as the place is serene and there is direct bus to and fro. :P

Personally I feel the servers were lack of attentiveness and friendliness. The food we had was just so-so. Here were some of the shots we took:

Long Champ bag from Paris!

Colour in beige

Thanks to Serene who bought this bag from Paris for me! BF collected it for me on Wednesday as I was unwell that evening.
The difference of the price at Paris and Singapore is ridiculous extreme. I could get two bags from the price selling in Singapore! Each time I tell myself it's gonna be my last "branded" bag but ended up I'm still buying! Well, I guess as a woman, its hard to control buying things we women like.

District 10 dining

Located at the premise of former Monk's Hill sec school (not far from Newton circus), District 10 has a nice outdoor dining area. It is a lovely place to spend your evenings here.

Food wise, is on the pricey side. We ordered two thin crust pizzas and buffalo wings, enough for four of us. I don't fancy their pizzas cuz they put too much vega on top and the ingredients were little. But it is definitely a nice place to chill out with friends after work.

After dinner, we headed to an ice-cream parlour called Ice Kimo located at Sim Ming road. Their variety of ice-cream is not plentiful and I don't think the ice-cream leaves that good impression on me. Pink is their theme colour and this parlour looks girlish.

Eric and Felicia's wedding

Attended one of my colleagues' wedding on 26th June. One of the nicest men I ever met at work :)

My colleague and his wife sang a duet song during the 1st March, followed by a solo song delication to his wife playing his guitar. A touching scene brought to the audience indeed! We applaused to his courage and singing.

Let's all wish them a blissful marriage.

LAVA ROCK Roxxxx

Again, another post supposed to be categorized in June posts.

After our final pre-marriage counselling, we headed to LAVA ROCK for dinner, this is through recommendation from my colleague whose polymate is working there. His friend is very friendly and we even add each other in Facebook. I guess the friendliness and food is appealing to us to patrol this place again.

The food is reasonable priced and so many choices to choose from. Let the photos do the talking!

Sunset Grill

I have been to Sunset grill twice and simply adore taking photos here. They have such nice blue sky and my mind seems to be blown away from the Singapore busy city.

We brought Des and Rain down sometime last month since they are also keen to try the wings. As usual we had their buffalo wings, except this time we ordered Level 2. We aren't those adventurous kind.

Here's some shoots that I have compiled. My PC is still down so the free time I'm left with blogging is during office lunch hours and at BF's house.

Here's a best photo for the day! Taken by me. :P
