Mini 28th Birthday celebration

Here are the post-dated photos for last 3 weeks!

It was a long weekend and we went to a couple of places.
Firstly on 27th Nov, we went to Des and Rain's new house at Sembawang to check out their renovation.

Then we headed to Melben Seafood at AMK. Thanks Des and Rain for the Sumptous Crab feast! Like before, we ordered their famous chilli crab, creamy crab and side dishes. I'll upload the photos if there is a chance as it's in another camera.
=)

We returned back to the guys' home and had a mini celebration. The Lie's parents were away for a church retreat at Desaru resort so Rain and I stayed overnight at the guys' house for one night.

Mango passion cheesecake from BF. Thanks!

Happy birthday to me! May I always stay young and cheerful as I grow one yr older!

The following day, we had dim sum for lunch at Cryst
al Jade restaurant. Then I headed to meet sister to Expo as she needed my M1 plan to sign up for a new HP.

Right after we were done, I went back to Bishan and meet the rest for a dinner at Pow Sing restaurant @ Serangoon Gardens, followed by desserts at the dessert bowl. If you want some sweet treats, do give this place a visit if you are around the area. It's a nice place to chill out with friends and they serve nice, chilled desserts as well. But seats were limited and pretty packed at night. We waited for around 15 mins before we got a table.

Am I seeing things? Was there a flower on BF's head? lol.

This is a nice one I noticed at the cafe. "I've got low education, Not beautiful. But my pocket have lots of money."

We had four different types of desserts! Personally, I prefer the durian mousse. It's really rich and I believe they are using D24 durians.

TWILIGHT NEW MOON

I know there are many men (and some women) out there who won't agree that the movie 'New Moon' is very nice! Some must have been turned off by the slow pace as long dialogue scenes were involved. But I seriously do enjoyed it though. Some parts were so touching and romantic that I felt like crying.

I should say, don't watch it if you are not a Twilight fan at all and if you aren't an emotional freak. LIKE ME!!!
A little part of me still belong to the category of high school crushes and that women need men to survive. Between love, how they have to make choices.

I enjoy watching love of humans and

Pyjamas Party

As you can see from the above title, we will be holding an X'mas party @ Des & Rain's new house with the theme 'Pyjamas'. All of us will be dressed in pajamas and I guess I will bringing my favourite soft toy along. lol. But we won't be staying overnight as most of their furniture are not in yet.
I'm so excited I need to shop for the costumes tomorrow!

Random thoughts

Had an awesome belated birthday celebration last Saturday with BF! He brought me to two special places!! I'll disclose them in another post when I have those mei mei photos!

Just some random thoughts over the past few days. Since the day BF proposed to me, I have been effortlessly searching around for wedding banquets etc, even in office!
(P.S: Hope my boss don't read this. lol) Seriously, before he proposed, I have already been looking around. Smile. I seem to be more anxious!

There are a few places I have in mind and will share when the time is ripe. I have sent emails to the wedding coordinators for the package prices and have received speedy response. :) I'm also gathering feedback from married couples but end day, it's still up to the individual to decide based on that so called 'feeling'.

Birthday 2009 Part 2

More photos after Part 1. We had our dinner followed by alcoholic drinks at Wala Wala Holland V. They went all the way to make me tipsy and I, in return did some funny poses for them. There was live band and they delicate a birthday song for me! As the place was getting crowded, we headed Essential brew for some bites and they sabooed me again by ordering one more alcoholic drink for me. I could not take the last straw! Luckily my BF came to fetch me sometime later, else I might end up vomiting in the premise!

More on my birthday celebration in the next post.

Birthday 2009 Part 1

I was busy uploading my countless Japan photos in Facebook for the past few weekends that I couldn't find time to blog. I realised I only had three posts for November! I wanted to keep to a minimum of ten posts per month but it seems hard as festive season gets nearer.

Anyway, the long weekend was busy for me as my colleagues and friends celebrated my birthday with me! Here's some sneak previews of some photos. These were taken in a rundown room of my office on
last Thursday. My colleagues ordered pizza from Rite Pizza and it's yummy! Better than Pizza Hut!

After lunch, Tyan and Suyin brought a heart-shaped cake with lighted candles to me. So touched. I liked the way the candles were displayed in a heart shape.
Thanks for the love!

After work, the gals (Tyan, Suyin and Jolene) brought me to Holland Village Wala Wala for another round of celebration. We had dinner there and one of the waiters suddenly walked over to us and told us there were a few guys who were keen to treat us drinks. We hesitated but finally agreed since it's FREE! While having dinner, a friendly lady chatted with us and explained the reason for the treat. They had made a bet and the guys lost so the forfeit was to treat a group of girls whom they noticed at the bar and it was us! The photos were with Jolene, shall post when there's a chance.

It was enjoyable and fun throughout the night with the girls. I had great fun though I'm being forced to drink. Tired so this shall be a short post.

I love Japan

Feeling worn out especially after my long holiday. Over there, I woke up in the wee hours every morning and spent my time moving on foot almost whole day! My boots ended its life span barely after a week!

I can still remember vividly on one of the days where I had to breathlessly held on to the handle of my luggage using mighty force to pull it and walked down to the JR station which was 10 minutes walk away. It was a great challenge for me as it was pretty heavy with so much stuffs packed inside and the pathway was pretty bumpy! When I reached the station I only saw long stairs to the railway. No lift in sight! BF volunteered to carry the two heavy luggages while I carried two lighter carrier bags. We treated them as dumbells. lol.

I love everything about Japan. From the little gestures of greetings, bows and friendly smiles to the fashion styles of the locals which I'm smitten to! Shopping was fun, I spent without worrying too much if I changed enough. There's just so much interesting stuffs to set one's eye on. I wish I could redeem chances to go there again!

My photos will not be upload so soon. Hopefully, by this weekend it will be completed.

I'm meeting Eileen gal later to her new bird nest @ Sembawang. Basically share some of my good news to her and to watch her AD video. I'm not giving hints what the good news is about, though some already know here. But I will reveal details soon. kekeke!

I miss Eileen so much since the last time I saw her was on her wedding. She's off today and I took leave as most time, it's hard to catch her in Singapore as she is always flying around the world.

Finally sister will be back today from Europe! I really miss her~

Dinner at Zento

More photos of the dinner @ Zento. I looked rather haggard in the photos because I had just finished a day's work. My oily T-zone started to get noticed.

This is the delicious dragon roll I was referring to previously. Definitely better than the ones I had outside.

Our dessert, not too sweet for the buds. Lovely for a lady.

The interior design of the restaurant with a cozy and private ambience!

Verane turns one!

Time flies! Princess Verane is one year old now! BF and I went to her birthday bash. Look how beautiful the cake and decorations were, specially customized for her!

Verane is pretty like a princess! But she is very shy and always not looking at the camera. :(

And that's me with the two customised balloons, shape of cute clowns. It's so huge, taller than me!

As we were around Yishun, we headed down our B
TO flats to check out the status of the construction. I know it sounds crazy to some because it's just about fourth storey high and there's still a long way! But looking at them is a blissful feeling or at least to us.

After that, we drove over to aunt's place for a car wash and to check her desktop.

When man is at work, do not disturb!

I was busy cam-whoring while BF washed our baby. After it was completed, I helped with the drying part!

The beautiful clouds evoked me to take photos of it!

Sweating all over with the glaring sun shining on us! It's the workout for this week!

Our Xiao Hei is black and shines now!
