" Why so serious.." Tagline from the Joker

Thanks dear for queuing up for the tix early in the morning. We got two good seats. This is the movie I have been waiting for! The plot was unexpected and good I can say! I loved batman! But I loved the Joker more! haha. I loved the joker for his truly awesome acting. With Heath Ledger playing the villian, I can say he acted VERY well. His villain voice and face still rings in my mind. That's the movie who has got him famous. But sadly, this is also his last movie.

Peeps, don't miss it, must watch or u will regret for life!

Now, with my dad winding up his business, we have lesser income and that means I have to cut down on my expenses to contribute more household allowance.. I prayed hard for my July increment. Hope it won't be too much of a disappointment. So far, there isn't any news about the bonus. I keep my fingers crossed.

Friday Nite out

It's yet another outing for me and my colleagues. We headed down to New york new york for dinner. Serving was plentiful. The food was okay, we got to taste different dishes by sharing food around. And thanks to some leftover food, we played the game "Zhong Ji Mi ma"... The loser got to eat!

After the dinner, we headed down to Dblo... It's been 3 years since I had stepped inside. One of my colleagues had brought his customer to the DBlo lounge and we went to find him. But it was so boring cuz it's purely just drinking. We decided to re-queue to go in to the Dblo disco. We managed to find a table and opened a bottle of chivas. The place seems so unfamiliar suddenly and I found myself with a weird kind of feeling with those Army guys hungrily checking us out. I started to hate that feeling, actually. The music was great, the DJ really knows what kind of music makes people go wild. haha. One of my colleagues is really good at shaking & I really admired her energy! Her dance moves caught me by surprise! Luckily there were seats for us cuz some of my colleagues looked bored and were sitting throughout the whole nite. Now we can see who enjoyed the nite and who really don't. hee..

India threading..

My mum & I went for india threading (an ancient method of hair removal that originates from India) I have heard my sis & mum mentioning that skin looks more radiant and you can see instant results. In the 80s, brides would go for such threading to make their complexion smoother so that when makeup is apply on, it will last longer.

It was my first experience and was overwhelmed with fear earlier! The whole process took about 10 mins, overall pain was still bearable. However the cheek area near the sideburns is more painful which made me drop a tear. Indeed, my face did feel cleaner and smoother after threading. Probably my next threading session will be another 2 months from now.. hehe..

My colleagues and I have bought more clothes from Taiwan website.. now waiting patiently for them to arrive to my office...

some of the fav clothes posted here..

My bf had to work today so I will be spending time with him on Monday to make up for today...

Facets of Life

I was planning to take mc cuz of stomach pain since last night but this morning as I was typing out the sms to inform my colleague, I received an sms from her that she is feeling unwell too & will be on mc. Such coincidence. I was so sian but oh well, the pain was bearable so I got myself to feet. I could imagine the worst scenario if neither of us came to office.

Next thing I want to talk about is my salesman's attitude named "L". I cant stand his impatient and crude remarks. Neither any of us likes his attitude and he's getting on our nerves. I just hate people who has big ego & doesnt admit he's wrong.. Anyway, this wasnt the first time and I thought to myself, I have many more months to work with this fellow. So to endure his kind of attitude, I have to tell myself not to make my day upset cuz of him. Anyway its just another bad day at work so I chose to forget the unhappy moments. Now with this thing off my mind right now, I'm ready for tomorrow's challenges.

That is how life should be, isnt it?

Past activities.... KTV, Mind cafe, BBQ......
More activities coming up.... dinner at New York New York, KTV, ST James....Hurray!! We are all taking turns to organise.. our next KTV session will be plan by me... I miss singing...^_^

Nicely wrapped...
Took him for japanese buffet at Hanabi located at King's Arcade....then we went Ikea and Queensway shopping ctr. After that, we headed down to SG flyer for our first virgin ride! The ferris ride was fantastic for experiencing just once in a lifetime. I had intentions to drop another surprise for him but well... there was some hiccups.. I just realised I wasn't a good planner after all. Probably I'll score better next time :P

We finally ended our night with fire sparklers.... :)

Learn from the past, Live in the present, Work on the future.

Friends come and go. I lost some and found some. I'm thankful to those friends who have been kind to me. I will secure our friendship and maintain our mutual understanding. Of course, besides good friends around, there are bound to be some group of people who always enjoying saying unpleasant words. A wee bit of jealousy probably? Apparently, these not-making-any-sense words are not going to spoil any of my moods.

Thankful to God that he has given my bf and I some light to begin with our new lives. My bf has been given a pay raise and everything is going smoothly in our careers. At least we have nothing to worry at the moment, just looking foward to our planning! ^o^

Oh no, bf is having his monthly stand-by again next weekend. Perhaps I have to start thinking of some stuffs to keep myself occupied at his house. Well, it's a blessing to see him concentrating on his work, never see him so serious except when he is working sia. hee hee.. *o^

Today took PM leave and accompanied bf to have XO bee hoon at west coast road, then to fix his company's hp at PS. We then drove to Robertson Quay for a stroll, had drinks at Central -TCC then settled our dinner at fisherman's wharf. A great day to spend with lesser crowd...

Just thought I'll share this song with everyone here! I feel it's a simple song with a good meaning for encouragement. This song is cool! Sing with the lyrics below..

Juwita Suwito - Breathe Again

Have you wondered how it feels when it's all over,
Wondered how it feels when you just have to start anew,
Never knowing where you're going, when you face a brand new day,
It used to be that way, now I just close my eyes and say

I just want to breathe again, learn to face the joy and pain,
Discover how to laugh a little, cry a little,
Live a little more,
I just wanna face the day,
Forget about the woes of yesterday,
Maybe if I hope a little,
Try a little more, I'll breathe again

Starting out again is never easy,
Disappointments come and go but life still moves on,
With a bit of luck, it's a brand new start,
That might just work my way, no need to walk away,
Don't want to live on life's replay,

Things will work out fine,
If you can find the courage to look past the night,
To see the break of dawn.

I just want to breathe again, learn to face the joy and pain,
Discover how to laugh a little, cry a little,
Live a little more,
I just wanna face the day,
Forget about the woes of yesterday,
Maybe if I hope a little,
Try a little more, I'll breathe again.

Im a Couch potato this weekend

It has been a while since i have been a couch potato for a long time. As bf was working on sat, i spent my day at his hse. Partly cuz my PC has broken down & my daily routine of surfing net still have to carry on, esp online shopping. Im so in love with the whole vintage designs now! Juz ordered new clothes for my wardrobe, will be arriving next month!

Most of the time, i dun like the idea of queuing to pay my stuffs and the stupid congestion in town. Prefer to shake legs at home while i let my hands do the working... lol. anyway managed to sound my bf to sponsor me abit for my new PC in consideration of his new increment in july! Hopefully I can also achieve something reasonable this July, named by my colleagues as the "Holy July".

Bf came back home quite late from work ytd nite.. I took this chance to buy some stuffs from NTUC ytd and this morning, specially woke up early to prepare him a nice breakfast, not forgetting for his gay bro too.... ^o^

HK 9th to 12th Apr 08

It was a short holiday break for me at the right time as I have been struggling for the past 1 month while my coll was on maternity leave and with my manager gone.

Here's our updates for our little honeymoon:

exchange rate: S$1 : HKD5.6
Bf & I woke up super early to catch the morning flight at 0640hrs. Upon arrival, took their citybus A21 to our YMCA hotel. costs HK33/each which is cheaper compare to other means of transport. journey takes abt 40mins. during the first day we headed down to mongkok for lunch,we were served with hot tea. tot it was meant for drinking but saw alot of pp put their chopsticks & spoons inside the tea to cleanse and we followed suit.. hehe.. did some shopping ard the area. went Sogo and Harbour city, all the luxury brands could be found there. had dinner, roasted duck *yummy* at cafe de coral (their food court), walked down to avenue of stars at TST to catch symphony of lights showing at 8pm. drink the Xu Liu Shan.. very nice! went back hotel to rest as we had been walking almost the whole day.
On the 2nd day, we took MTR to Tung chung station, took the 20mins cable car ride up to Ngong Ping village, very nice view of Lantau island. went to see the Giant buddha. had our lunch nearby.. after dat, took cable car back to MTR, took the disney train.. so cute the handles. purchased the disney tix at HK295/each. when we reached, the disney parade was abt to start. it was quite worth it, esp seeing my long time fav characters and the disney fireworks at 7.30pm. took train back to hotel to put our stuffs then headed back to mongkok for late dinner and shopping. Luckily the shops closed quite late.
On the 3rd day, had tim sum for breakfast cum lunch. quite full.. went to Mongkok & Prince Edward area (Fa Yuen, Argyle street) and langham place, checked out their local brand H & M but did not get anything, went to find the Mongkok computer ctr but walked a few times until we asked around for directions.. phew! Gosh, we always passed by the area but never saw it. the cameras there selling dirt cheap. took MTR to central. took the 45 degree peak tram up the victoria peak. watched the Madame Tussaud wax museum, then had our coffee break at Gloria jeans while watchin the sunset... so nice feeling! the weather was rather foggy thus din take nice pics up there. took MTR back, walked over to temple street but nothing much so we went to Ladies street.
On the last day, we walked ard Mongkok & along the shops at nathan Rd, spent our final shopping there. took the citybus back to airport... the flight was delayed for almost an hr, got home ard 2am.. luckily the past few days din rain.. thank god!

HK is reli similar to Spore, but given a choice, i still prefer Taiwan. so much to see & buy! hehe... next upcoming trip with bf!
